    从2002年开始,作者在浙江大学物理系讲授量子力学。本教材是作者在讲课稿的基础上,多年不断完善形成的。作者认为,如果大学教材编写的逻辑体系非常强,而掩盖了认知过程(即事实认知过程并不是如此,而是零散的,开始或许只认识了一点,中间有反复,在综合许多研究以后才形成一完整体系),这样很难让学生提出问题,无益于培养创造力。并且,学生会把科学发现想得过于神秘莫测,从而失去创造欲。因此,作者在内容安排上考虑了以下两点。(1)避免灌输型教学方式,尽量以提出问题,探索未知为基础;(2)没有采用很多同类教材一开始就罗列一个完整的知识体系,从头到尾很逻辑而缺乏对学科发展历史的回顾。2010已经出版的是作者在浙江大学讲授《量子力学I》的内容,本书是作者讲授《量子力学II》的内容,也是已出版书的后续内容,共有五章。第一章诱导学生体会量子力学从非相对论形式到相对论形式的发展,不但学习Dirac方程与电子的内禀自旋,还和当前学科前沿(graphene,spintronics等)相联系;在第二章和第三章先引入密度矩阵的概念,并介绍量子纠缠和量子相干,进一步介绍量子信息和计算的基本概念;在第四章诱导学生研究相位在物理学中的作用。在第五章介绍几种在物理学科前沿常用的近似方法。
